Game 2, 1st Period: Habs Bruins Analysis

  • Bs up 2-0 in 1st.  Unlike game 1, it seems complacency has not set in, as was the case in game 1.
  • The Bs are matching the habs hit for hit, and then some.
  • Desperation is already setting in, as the Habs have resorted to double-shifting Kovalev.  At the ripe old age of 36, not sure this will be easily sustainable for gramps over the long haul.
  • 2nd period is on the way.  If the Bs can play a solid 20 minutes without letting up, it should carry over to the 3rd period and hopefully a 2-0 series lead.
