1 Down, 3 to go

Analysis by BruinsUnite

Jimmy Golen reports that “Aaron Ward laughed when he saw all the newspaper articles asking whether the Boston Bruins would be rusty from the long layoff they earned by sweeping Montreal in the first round.” So was was the media so willing to instill concern about the long layoff? Perhaps there was nothing else to report.

Tonight, there’s plenty to report. The Bruins were promised a more competent competitor than the Canadiens in round 2, but so far, things appear to be a little too easy for Boston. Here’s to hoping there will be a heightened sense of urgency in the Canes in game 2; otherwise, things can get a little dull. There’s not much entertainment value in repetition. That said, let’s hand it to the boys, who are in great shape!
